Human Nature 2016

Presented at my graduation exhibit, this project earned me the Gordon Harris illustration award from Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand). Consisting of a series of large scale hand drawings, digitally colored, The clean landscapes appear to reference any imagined place or time. Look closer and notice the human limbs and forms that are strewn throughout the line work. The art explores the relationship between humans and the environment, as beings forged from nature as well as co-existing with our planet.
